This was our first visit to Sissi and it certainly won't be our last. The apartment we had (105) was spacious and clean and fitted with all mod cons and a lovely large fridge for the wine and the Greek salad! The balcony overlooked the sea, but not the beach but this was more than adequate. It was quiet and the air-con in the bedroom was fantastic and easy to adjust. Anthee, the owner was very helpful and advised on where to eat and where to go. Lovely Dimitra made the beds up fresh and cleaned the rooms every day to a high standard. The position of the apartments were ideal. Right next to the sea and within a short walk of a myriad of restaurants which were all lovely as well as being directly opposite a supermarket which sold everything you needed. Thank-you Anthee, we will return!!!

Very handily placed close to all bars/restaurants and a lovely location overlooking the harbour entrance. We had a sea view apartment (No 2) which had a couple of small terrace areas. - one nice for breakfast and the the other to catch the evening sun while having a drink. Good sized living area in the apartment separate from the bedroom and bathroom - kitchen area a galley style and quite small but more than adequate to prepare snacks and breakfast. Apartment cleaned all but one day - towels and bedding changed twice in a week's stay. One downside was beds very firm - although you do get used to them.
Paved pool area at the sea end of the block overlooking the harbour entrance was quite small but space was always available for sun beds. Refreshments there a do it yourself affair but not a problem - nip back to room or nearest (quiet) bar within 20 metres and harbour restaurants less than 100 metres. There is a road (track) between pool area and sea but little used.
Anthi, the owner, very friendly and organised our airport transfers for us. I'm sure she could have helped more if we'd wished.
Supermarket across the road friendly, well stocked and very reasonably priced. Plenty of restaurants to choose from - all good value. Nicest coffee we had was at Tropical Beach (part of Sissi Mare Hotel) 200 metres turn left out of hotel.
Sissi a quiet resort - just what we wanted - but with plenty of places to eat and drink at sensible prices. Lovely beach at Kalimera Kriti resort about a 15 minute walk away - past two other beaches and then over a (not too) rocky headland.
Hadn't been to Greece for about 10 years and wished we returned sooner - people so friendly in Crete and life seems simple. We'll be back and Porto Sisi will be high on our places to come.

We have just spent another lovely week at Porto Sisi, the apartments are lovely, clean and well maintained. Right on the sea, but also with a nice pool, just 15 apartments, ideal to relax and enjoy the great village of Sissi. Each apartment is fully equipped for self catering, including kettle, filter coffee machine and toaster! And for those like us who like to eat out, there are excellent and convenient tavernas just 5 mins walk from the complex. The owner Anthi, who has now become a friend, is always available to support and suggest when in need. We are already starting to plan for next year!
