It has been a long time since I stayed in an economy hotel that wasn't also geared toward longer stays. It was a shock to open the door to the room. Years ago I took a foster child to an independent living program and the very basicness of the room reminded me of that. There isn't a hair dryer, Kleenex, suitcase stand, shampoo or alarm clock. Since there are no dressers, your suitcase ends up on the floor, which is a huge inconvenience. The bed is a platform bed, the floor is laminate. There is a table with a desk chair and a cushioned bench of sorts.
The rooms do not have refrigerators, even though there is plenty of room. There is a microwave in the lobby area.
On the plus side, it was clean, the mattress was comfortable (the pillows were NOT) and there were plenty of tv channels.
There is no pool anymore, which is too bad.
This is very simple hotel, expect nothing more than a bed and a bathroom and you will be fine.
I'd like to think they will do some upgrading, but I think this is what travelers can expect from now on.
The customer service is adequate, but could be better.More
