We came to Omaha from Sioux Falls for Valentine's weekend. We were a little hesitant about this hotel after reading some of the reviews on this website, but we absolutely loved this hotel. The moment we arrived, we were offered free valet parking and another gentleman helped us unload our luggage. It was very busy inside the hotel when we stayed. There was an excellent little bar in the lobby and the decor is charming art deco period with lots of black and white. OUR ROOM WAS GORGEOUS! There are hardwood floors and an incredibel shower! The only complaints about the room was that the view was awful (there is a building under construction next door), and there were children running around everywhere making noise in the hallways. We had never been to Omaha before, so we asked Miguel, the concierge for suggestions and he offered us a ride in a Mercedes to check out the night life. Omaha is a fun place to spend a weekend. We went to a movie theater that serves food (highly reccomended). We even called for a ride back after the movie and they came right away.
The only blemish with our stay was that we wanted to order room service later in the evening but the restaurant was closed. The overnight concierge was helpful and we found a place nearby that was still serving.More
