I have been going to the Drover for over 25 years and the food has always been consistently great. You have to love a good Omaha steak to get as excited as I am about this restaurant - and if you are a lover of red meat the whiskey filet will suit you to a T. I have had steaks all over the world including kobe beef in Japan, steaks at various Mortons, Ruth Chris and other famous places and found them all to be quite good but nothing compares to the Drover. The drinks in the bar if you have to wait are well done, the salad bar is clean, fresh and delicious and the steaks may cause you to levitate upon your first bite. The service is always good and the atmosphere is your basic late 70's dark Tudor style. You come here for the friendly service and the GREAT food and you will never, ever, ever be disappointed. I just finished having dinner there and it was the BEST meal I have had since the last time I was there.
