The food being priced at par with Johnny Walker Black - wow, that is some pricing. Well, the fact that full menu variety wasn't available at 8p is in itself a disappointment, and to get bhatura soaked in oil, however hot and fresh off the frying pan it was, sounds troubling enough. The serving was definitely named after Indian stuff, not so sure it tasted as Indian as I would have preferred.

The only thing that I see going for this place is its location in the Old Market area - wish we had better options though !!

Food was terrible and inauthentic. Passes for ethnic Indian food and full of False Advertising on the Internet. Cook had no clue as to what he or she was cooking and the waiters & waitresses had no clue either. Most of what I tried to order was out of stock and what there was did not resemble proper Indian food.

As an Indian, I say, "visit this Indian Food Impostor" at your own risk!

No wonder your restaurant was slow for dinner as others were packed. Your service and your food were a 1 (that is on a skale of 1-10 with 10 being great). The hostess that seated us on the patio didn't bother to wipe of the table. The server (Evan) 1st approached the table with his hands on his hips not looking at us but looking up and down the side walk and the patio next door to see who might be looking at him. This was not a one time occurance thoughout our time there. We had 2 drinks each (which the 2nd we had to go inside and ask the hostess if we could have another one as we hadn't seen our server. Evan might have had a total of 3 tables but seemed to be preoccupied with looking "cute" for others rather than taking care of "his" customers. He has alot to learn about service or "not" but we won't be back again to the Indian Oven. The food was absolutely the worst dry dead wood that I have ever stuck a fork in. Presentation, Service, Quality all a 1!. Get off the Old Market strip people you are an embarrasment

I recently dined here with coworkers and we had a great time. The Lamb Vindaloo was great and spiced just right. The appetizers were really good as well. If you get there for happy hours prices it is even better as many of the drinks and appetizers are cheaper. The place is located in the Market District and is surrounded by great shops and art galleries. Don't forget to order a Mango Lassi.
