First time to this place and probably my last. There may not be a lot of Italian options in Omaha and that is why people like this place. Getting here was kind of scarey. It is defiantly in a weird location and the building is kind of a shanty too. I was kind of nervous going in but my husband assured me the ratings were good.
Bread - Seriously.... a lame baguette roll? I judge a restaurant by its bread (fail)
Appetizer - Caprese Salad (how can you screw this up) This was an amateur presentation and the tomatoes were cut so big I couldn't even bit through them. What a waste. (fail)
Meal - I had the Alfredo Pasta with typical white sauce. The portion was huge. The noodles were really soggy tasting not al dente. Probably guessing they make fresh pasta here. (fail)
Check - For what we got this place is way over priced. They could easily cut their portion sizes and drop the price. Service was nothing special.
From listening to people around me.. it sounds like people just come here for the wine. People spent most of their time choosing what they wanted to drink not eat.
