“First time visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013

I went there tonight for a friends birthday. The mozz sticks were awesome. The salad was just how i like it. The rolls were nice and hot, right out of the oven. Their red sauce is kind of sweet. Yum. If you haven't been there, you should go. I wouldn't call the wait staff super speedy but we were not in a hurry, so all's good.

“Fried Chicken”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2013

There were 2 of us and we were in the mood for fried chicken, which by checking their menu I knew they had. Plus we wanted to try someplace new.
It was a Saturday evening, but we just a little after the major crowd. Waited for about 2o minutes for a table, but then it was Saturday and assumed this.
Food was hot and service was good. Chicken tasted very good, but s soon as it was put on the table we looked at each other and soon as the waitress left both commented on the size of the chicken.
While it tasted good, above average. We both felt the value was below average. We could both name without trying at least 5 places not that far away, where the quality was the same, but the size was at least 50% larger.
Don't know about pasta as is obviously their specialty.

“Wonderful Ricotta Cannolis”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013

We would come back just for the cannolis. The shells are freshly made, crispy & flavorful. The ricotta filling generous & tasty. Cannolis are hard to find, let alone really good ones.
The pasta is homemade & we liked the sauce. The salad dressing is different but still good. The mushroom appetizer, not wonderful.
Just a tip: If you order the full dinner serving, you will be taking home half of your dinner for lunch the next day.
We have never been here before but will definitely come back the next time we are in Omaha.

“Great homecooked style”

We've been going here for year. Always the same. Always good. Best salad dressing in town. And homemade spaghetti? Where else can you get that?

“Like eating at your Mama's house”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2012

This is like going to your Mama's house for Sunday dinner. In fact it is in an old house in a neighborhood. You can also by a bag of homemade biscotti (italian cookies) on your way out...like your Italian mom used to bake.
