A small restaurant, simple, big flavors and amazing food. It is a great place to go during the summer because you can sit outside. The portions are generous and the price is more than reasonable.I would go back to Omaha just to have one of their samosas.

We've tried to find good Indian food in Omaha. Indian Oven, The Taj (which used to be good and has disappointed lately), the Sitar closed, and the restaurant that took their place is not worth dropping in again (I think it's India Garden?). Mother India never disappoints! We've had nearly everything on the menu. There are a few we won't repeat, just our tastes, not their fault. The owners are from India. Their true star item is their Naan! I could eat one of those with just sauce on the side. The portions are ample, if not a bit on the larger size. You'll have enough for lunch the next day. Ambiance is not the best, as it's located in a parking lot and not in a great neighborhood - the inside has 3-4 cramped tables and there are 6-7 plastic tables outside. Get it to go if necessary, but stop in!

We really like this place. Easy to miss. Chicken vindaloo was amazing as was the garlic nan bread.

Generous portions, great value.

So flavorful!! This is a tiny little restaurant with the aroma of yum. We ate a variety of foods unknown (eenie, meenie, miney, mo style) off their large menu and we enjoyed every bit of it. A true gastric adventure! The spices were so very good and the food came out quickly. Never been to India, but if this is what it's like, sign me up. It was chilly the day we went and this food warmed us up nicely. I can't wait to go back!

The service was quick but being an Indian I did not get the real taste of Indian food. While being run by good meaning Indians, I think they have accommodated to foreign taste buds a bit too much. They also seemed eager to have us pay and leave as the place is small and people waiting.
