This was our second visit, on a busy Saturday night in prime time. We only had to wait five minutes or so to be seated. The restaurant is lovely, if a tad noisy.
The food was definitely a step up from our first visit, which was good as well. I had the lamb two ways, a half rack and a shank, osso buco style. Very tasty, and well-complimented with foraged mushrooms and lentils. My wife chose the planked salmon, served with a rich root vegetable purée. Both of us chose to start with the $4 side salads which are an option with entrees. Everything was fresh and delicious.
The service was also helpful, prompt and competent, giving us assistance with both food and beverage options. The wine selection is good, if not very deep.
I have only one complaint. I started the evening with a glass of bourbon on the rocks. I noted on the bill a $1 charge for "rocks". Really? But overall, a top ten or so restaurant in town. Recommended.
