Not bad for an Indian restaurant in Omaha, Nebraska. A little far away from downtown Omaha (the downtown appears to have the best selection of decent hotels along with proximity to the airport), but worth the visit for the expansive lunch buffet. Staff appeared overwhelmed and harried, but were generally pleasant to deal with.
Lunch buffet selections are okay, but the staff could do a better job of replenishing the trays. Some items such as the Uttappam (salty rice+lentil pancakes) are supposed to be a rare treat from South Indian cuisine, but they were mostly cold, stuck to the wax paper and the staff had to be repeatedly summoned and asked to replenish them. They finally complied, but neglected to bring some to our table as requested since we were already in the middle of our meal. Instead, those customers who had come after us were able to get that item - hot and fresh. We were sorely disappointed, but a repeat request to bring the item to our table was honored right away, albeit with unexpected consequences. Another customer upon observing the service to our table also made the same request and the same waiter complied right away. That brought forth a gentle protest from another staff member who appeared to an owner to tell that customer that this was an one time exception and that the staff did not generally do this. An understandable situation I think that was handled somewhat in a mixed manner.
Overall, this restaurant serves genuine, although not spectacular Indian Cuisine.
