“Be two places at once!”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

The bridge is one of those fun spots where you can be in two states at the same time! There are some nice paths on either side of the bridge and a small sprinkler park on the Omaha side. A visit here won't take very long, but it's a nice walk with some nice views.

“Fun place to see”
Reviewed August 16, 2013 via mobile

We enjoyed having one foot in each state and it was a very pretty walk in the early evening. My sons also enjoyed the fountains at the Omaha side of the bridge. Worth a look!

“Overrated”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

Just a bridge, the Missouri River is hardly scenic at this point. Something free to do, but nothing worth writing home about.

“Great Views”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Although there were a lot of negative discussions about building this bridge as a waste of money and a bridge to nowhere, it is hard to dispute the fact that there are always a lot of people walking across the bridge and taking in the great views of the river and the Omaha skyline. And now with the Park at the east end of the bridge in Council Bluffs the number of people using the bridge will go up more. A great design and great addition to the skyline.

“Nice stroll...and visit Iowa.”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

I liked the idea of being able to walk over to Iowa as I would like to visit all 50 states. The pedestrian bridge was scenic and calm. You could take a small dog (no pitbulls per law there), bike or run. There is a visitor's center and a part on the Council Bluffs, Iowa side.
