“Cheap & Cheerful Falafel!”
Reviewed September 16, 2012 via mobile

Another great hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Omaha. Simple menu but delicious. Pick from falafel or lamb on a salad or in a pita. Fries with that? Next customer. Excellent! Sauces are good and deliver as promised hot, garlic or herb. Make this a stop for a quick bite or a robust snack. Order taking a little more confused than you would anticipate given the simple menu. Small price to pay for the robust favors.

“Outstanding Fries and Lamb”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

Finally got to try them since I couldn't find them at first. The curry fries are outstanding.

I ordered a Doner Kabob with garlic. The lamb was very flavorful and I suggest mixing up the dressing with the salad and the lamb to add moisture, otherwise it could be little bit dry. Even though the Lamb was flavorful, I had to add little bit of salt to the spring salad to enhance more the flavor, but that may be just me. They did a good job at making a hamburger type bread into a crunchy from the outside and soft from the inside bread.

Comparing it with other Kabobs that I have tried, the lamb meat and the dressing is good. The spring salad could use a little bit of salt and I would prefer Pita or Tandoori bread.

I would recommend. It was flavorful, at a fair price and good service.

“Really good "kebab" with super-fresh vegetables”
Reviewed March 11, 2012

My husband and I have eaten here a few times. The falafel is tasty and the meat kabob ("kebab") is good. I like my meat crispy and the young man was friendly and accommodating. The "fixings" (veggies) added have always been very fresh. Excellent value, too.

“The best Falafel”
Reviewed February 12, 2012

i love this place. its a very small place with a small sitting area, with a very limited menu. BUT the falafel and curry fries are phenomenal!! They the best i ve ever tasted . Only 11 tip: on weekends it gets a little busy and you may have to wait a bit. I would definitely recommend this place , waiting or no waiting.
