The restaurant is unobtrusive , a bit difficult to find if you didn't know about it, Inside the open kitchen, typical old market bare walls etc were very inviting. The service was excellent. Wine selection superb. Our dinners included stuffed squash blossoms, swordfish, steak with side dishes and cheese selection. The swordfish was SUPERB! Done just right. Better than any I've tasted in a long time. The steak was very good too. the cheese selection was a good mix of taste and textures. The two complaints I have are about the squash blossoms, which were stuffed with spicy pork heart which completely overwhelmed the delicate flavor of the blossoms. It would have been far better done in a light tempura like batter, with no stuffing. The second problem was the garbanzo beans with the steak. It was too salty. A lightly seasoned potato, mushroom or asparagus would have been better.
