My wife and I could't find a parking spot in the Old Market on a rainy, Saturday night. We found one right in front of the Boiler Room. It was a damp night and Nebraska was playing, so we got in without a reservation. The maitre d was pleasant and helpful.
The atmosphere is quite enchanting. It is a blend of pre-prohibition decor and new industrial architecture. It was quiet as well which is nice if you want to talk.
The service was impeccable. The waiter was very helpful and professional.
The food was very good and well presented. I had salmon and my wife had steak. Both were excellent. The menu is a bit complicated and most of the dishes are pretty eclectic. They have a large selection of wine and cocktails.
This is not an inexpensive place to eat, but because of the atmosphere, service, and quality of food -- the value is still pretty good.
