The hotel is not too far from Marseilles airport and well located to visit Provence.
The room was not modern and pretty small, but clean with well equipped kitchen.
Interior parking was practical even though it is an extra charge.
Wi-Fi is available, but there is no computer at the lobby to connect to internet...
The site is beautiful with lake, lot a flowers and nice view on the mountains.
We did not have time to see all installations, but wave pool was nice and local market directly on the site was appreciated.

Room Tip: Some sections can be more noisy than others; ask hotel if they expect a bus full of teenagers during...

We where a group of 7, 2 adults and 5 kids ages 5-15.
There were lots to do, nice pools with wave machines, slopes etc.
Nice area that was built as a small village.
The house was small but nice, 63 square meters with 3 bedrooms, and a combined kitchen/livingroom with a sofa that could be a bed for 2.
Nice staff that spoke better english then what I expected.
We don't play golf but the course looked nice.
Nice base to tour the area with Avignon and Aix en Provence about 1 hours away.
In high season it is crowded, with more guests than sun chairs at the pools.
Masterbed comfortable but single beds too hard for me.
Overall pleased but small things like an adequate sunumbrella, more sunchairs around the pool etc would have made me give 4 as a rating.

We were looking for a base for touring Provence with our 2 children (12 & 7). After a slight hiccup not receiving our welcome pack by post we phoned up and found the staff very helpful. The site was easy to find and very attractively presented. Our accommodation was very small (but adequate) and had all been freshly decorated and equipped - much appreciated. The gardens were very attractive. The downsides of going in April were that the "heated" pool was pretty cold and the rest of the waterpark was still closed. There was not any food shopping facility on site, and only two restaurants were open, of which one was good for the children. (Take a look a Center Parcs UK for ideas on how to improve this?)/ But overall the staff were all charming, the site was clean and well maintained, and the setting was beautiful.

Room Tip: We had a VIP accommodation package, and ended up with a pretty little villa with terrace, garden and...

Went to P&V Pont Royal end March 2013 for a week in a "villa"for 4 to 6 persons. Good thing we were only 4 as there are only 2 bedrooms and the house is actually quite small. Flew from the UK to Marseille and rented a car, just 1 hour's drive, perfect. But we arrived very late in the rain and the place was impossible to find...Turns out Pierre et Vacances owns only 10% of the site so it's not well advertised on the road, and a bit of a surprise too, the village is totally artificial and in the middle of a huge golf course, most of the other accomodations there are private. Anyway, quality in the house is very good, a proper coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher, all working perfectly fine, great mattresses and bathrooms, all is quite new. But no garden ( balcony instead ) which is what I thought I would get booking a villa...Otherwise location is fantastic for visits around: Le Pont du Gard, all the lovely little perched villages ( Bannieux, Salon de Provence ). Lovely smells of Rosemary and Thyme everywhere you go, Lavender fields and Olive groves abund. If you are travelling with children do go see one of the last maker of genuine Savon de Marseille ( Marius Fabre ) and the Occitane En Provence factory is not far either. We went on fabulous walks on the Montagne Ste Victoire and the Sentier des Ochres is also a must. We were lucky with the weather so were able to have a picnic outside everyday, but this being France there are loads of very pretty restaurants in the area that are great for lunch. Oh yes nearly forgot that P&V charges 45 Euros for parking for a week which is a bit rich considering that the site is in the middle of nowhere and would be impossible to reach without a car...But the site is probably very nice if you are a golfer, which we are not, but hey, we had a nice time and the kids too so that's what matters !

Room Tip: Do get a large villa as their standard are quite small !

Pont Royal is a very nice village with beautiful apartments. Unfortunately when having booked for this location again at P&V (Pierre & Vacances) they just cancelled the holiday one week before the holiday would start. They did not even give a reason. So a very bad experience and completely not reliable. Please be aware of this when you are booking with Pierre & Vacances directly they just cancel it when it is better for them. But what can you do? Customer service is then not very helpful. Customer service manager Emilie Guillion would not even talk to customers to explain things (if it can be explained). It's a pity!

The houses are typical P&V (not so big), so always take a size bigger. The 2 swimming pools are definitely worthwhile. There is also a Petting Zoo but that is hardly worth the name. On the domain is only 1 actually playground where small children can play and that is too little for such a village. In other P&V parks there are also still small playgrounds here and there ... We found it exaggerated though that you have to pay to park your car, where else can you go with your car! There was free Wifi at the reception and soon in the houses (paying)(modem was already installed). For questions we could always ask at the reception and people were definitely helpful.
General assessment ==> good residence but price/quality and with small children there are other P&V locations that are better and cheaper!

I did not stay in the accommodation - booked somewhere privately - but did try to get internet access in the reception (€30 for 2 weeks). Terrible experience
