After visiting the outstanding market in L'Isle sur la Sorge, we stopped for a late lunch to find lunch was no longer being served. Pas de probleme. We enjoyed the bar menu to include an assortment of cheeses and a mixed planche of spanish beef sausages, panchetta, and different cheeses. Some of the cheeses were divine and others were too pungent for our American pallets. But the goat cheeses were the best. The draft beer was cold and enjoyable and the coffee creme was exactly what we needed to continue the day. Although the server spoke no English, we manged to communicate easily and she provided friendly service. She seemed to enjoy our broken French and took care of us well.
