Owner description: I am a stall holder on the antiques market and it is a super colourful place to work and visit. The market is on every sunday from around 8 am, there is a general markey selling local produce and many other things to tempt you. Along the Ave 4 hostages there is the antique market that is open all day, there is a variety of antiques and unique different things to look at and purchase as a souveneer from provence. Each year there are 2 INTERNATIONAL ANTIQUE FAIRS one at Easter and the other is over the 15th August each year when the whole town explodes with antiques, art and wierd and wonderful things to buy and look at. Check it out and come along you will not be dissapointed.

One of the best markets for food - and other stuff - in Provence which meansd it's one of the best markets in the country. Maybe only surpassed in Provence by the market in Vaison-La-Romaine. Food galore plus clothing and toys and books. But shop around and check prices because there can be a significant difference in cost. For example, one table selling olives offered products double the price of another table around the corner selling the same stuff. Take the time and make a morning out of it, stopping for a coffee or a glass of wine by the river/water wheels.

“Excellent market with beautiful local Provence produce”
Reviewed August 18, 2014

Beautiful market with fabulous local produce displayed in the way only the French can do. Because it is set up throughout the town it is very easy to navigate although it got very busy by around 11.00am. The flower stalls are stunning as are the cheese stalls, there is jewellery, hats, clothes, lavendar, soaps, shoes, you name it, you can probably buy it. We have just come from Uzes which has a big market on a Saturday and which we always loved, but have to say this one was better. Recommend it, but very hard to park so get to it early.

“Pick up all your Souveniers here!”

We loved the array of goods and food available here. We bought lavender soaps and beautiful scarves. Everything the region is known for. They also have lots of food and it's a great way to spend a day exploring the town.

“Beautiful Provence town”
Reviewed August 13, 2014

This is a very scenic town, built around the river with very tempting restaurants along the banks, very colourful flowers, water wheels, and a very busy market selling all the local produce. Picture postcard town, and I would say it's a must-see if you are in the area. Lovely atmosphere about the place, particularly when the market is there (can't remember which days-sorry!)

Massive in size, massive in variety and massive in the amount of people that attend. Not to be missed. All the different stalls and colours are fabulous. Very hot walking around though a lot of the stalls have awnings which will offer shade if not a bargain. Great for lavender! One thing we did stumble upon was the church. We heard music coming from it and just caught the very end of a service. The church interior just blew us away we were in awe. Unreal painting and statues. The choir sounded amazing and the priest was greeting all his patrons afterwards. I am not a holy person by any means but it was truly fascinating building. We stopped for a beer in a local restaurant on the side of the street amongst the stalls. If you love people watching then this is a must. And it's nice to sit for a while after all the walking around. Oh they also had lots of gondolas too!! Great place!
