We chanced upon the Fabres' delightful restaurant on a busy Saturday, having glanced despairingly at various tourist trap menus along the way. The diligent and friendly team of waiters dealt efficiently with the mainly local clients, and the set lunch menu was good value.
Six months on, the salmon starter, squid risotto and moelleux au chocolat, also the beautiful terrasse on the banks of the Sorgue, remain memorable.
