This was our fourth visit, so we are accustomed to the set menu, and brace ourselves a bit. Both the starter and main course were fish; monkfishe wrapped in bacon, on a bed of white beans. The main course was perfectly smoked cod, with roasted carrot, cauliflower, beet and a lovely garlic mayonnaise to rub on everything. Dessert was baba rhum, with roasted pineapple. If given the choice, we would have ordered none of the three, but enjoyed all. The garden setting has both sunny and shady spaces. It is truly magical. It is fun to see many generations of families-and their dogs-having Sunday lunch.

The setting is indeed magical, as the garden is simply lovely. If only the quality of the meal lived up to the surroundings. We were very taken aback that there was absolutely no choice and found the food rather bland. It was also very expensive, even by Luberon standards. Service was charmless.

The food in this restaurant remains excellent (6 personal visits over two years) but the service leaves much to be desired. I do not expect to be served by blue jean wearing waiters and waitresses in a high priced restaurant and i do expect a high quality service not the dropping off of plates such as expected in a 8 dollar sandwich bar. It just spoiled the experience totally, felt just like a cheap fast food experience and certainly did not do justice to the wonderful work of this chef. I will now be trying other restaurants in the area - good for them but a shame for the chef. Eating is more than just the food.

found the restaurant more or less by accident or passing through the nearby antique shops. the waitress told us that there was only one menue which was a bit much for lunch but tried anyway. the food was truly excellent, the tuna appetizer as well as the lamb but the baba-au-rhum definelty too much for lunch - but no choice to order something else. Unless you know the chef: a couple came in, sat down next to us and were served something entirely different...one feels definelty strange and disappointed when this happens....either it is one menue or not - for everybody. Or you need to say that you can preorder something different, but it doesn't work like this! a bit of a pity, would have loved to give the place a 5 point rating. Service also was not very attentive - didn't come around to ask if we wanted more to drink. Other then that very nice.
loved lunch underneath the old trees and the quality.

This restaurant has a magical setting, cool under spreading trees & garden but what a shame the wait staff act as though they are doing you a favour by serving you and the food does nothing to redeem that opinion. If as the chef says he buys his ingredients daily at the market, he must be buying the same stuff because what we ate on the set menu was the same as many other trip advisor reviews. Shame ....
