It was most awesome! The room had so much charm and comfort, it felt like we were in a different country. The service was amazing, we were treated like royalty.. The whole place is exquisite and will be visited again in the near future.. Perfect place for a private party or any special occasion that seeks that unique feeling.

Enjoyed the first night of an 8 day trip to the grand canyon at Milo's in Boulder City. The room was extremely comfortble and secluded. Great jacuzzi tub for two!! Excellent breakfast the next morning.

We stayed in the Bordeaux Hideaway in March, 2012. Based on the wonderful comments on Trip Advisor, I was not disappointed in the beauty and charm of the room at Milo's. I was most disappointed to find that personal service that guests expect at a small inn was non-existent and basic amenities found in any lower-end motel were missing. Our room was exquisite with lavish linens, beautiful wood and a fireplace lined with marble. The bathroom was stunning and very roomy. A few of the issues with personal service: We were taken to our room by an employee of the restaurant who was totally unfamiliar with the inn area, could not answer our questions and could not find the light switch in the very dark room. The room had no telephone and throughout our stay, no one could be contacted to give us information about the inn. When we went down to the restaurant/bakery to ask questions, the staff was too busy and too uninformed to be helpful. We were on our own to deal with luggage, parking the car, and checking out the next morning. At breakfast, I had to search for someone in the restaurant to clear the dirty dishes off one of the tables. Then I had to find someone to refill the juice pitcher. Then I had to find someone to refill the fruit bowl which never arrived. After breakfast, no one could give us information about checking out, so we returned to the room, left the key and walked out. Issues with amenities: television is much too small and too high above the door to view comfortably. There was no ice or ice bucket in the room; guests must walk downstairs to the restaurant and ask busy waiters to give you ice in a plastic cup. There was no alarm clock, although we found it in the back of a drawer the next morning. The bathroom sink and shower faucets had to run for several minutes (not an exaggeration) to produce hot water. The bathroom was missing a water glass. The shower is beautiful but has no ledge or shelf for toiletries; soap, shampoo, etc. must be placed on the shower floor. At breakfast, the quiche and pastries were very good but had to be eaten cold because there was no microwave; the bagels looked delicious but there was no toaster to toast them.
If you are looking for a beautiful, romantic room, Milo's will do very well. If you want human contact, staff to answer questions, or standard motel amenities, go somewhere else.

We recently stayed at the Chianti room celebrating our anniversary. The room was very nice and the bed very comfy. The grounds were very Tuscan style. We really enjoyed the wine bar and the Chianti platter was so good. My only complaint was that we were told breakfast would be set out between 8 and 10 and when we went down at 9:45 everything had already been put away. When I stay at a B&B I do like to enjoy breakfast. The whole area of shops and restaurants is very charming.

We booked by phone and had the Bourdeaux room. Very lovely but NO bath like in the other rooms. Had some issues with wifi and room being dark, but the staff were really helpful and all was fixed.
We ate at the wine bar.... Lovely service nice wine and good fresh food.
The next morning we had breakfast at the cafe 2 doors up as on of Milo's staff couldn't get to work.
Milo kindly arranged it so we could have what ever we liked. A great old diner packed with people so we didn't mind at all.
For anyone ino antiques there are some brilliant shops in Boulder City.... So go fossick it is worth the detour.

Room Tip: If you want a bath and a brighter room don't go for Bourdeaux.

My wife and I have been regular visitors to Milo's wine bar in Boulder City for years, and had vaguely noticed that there was an inn associated with the place. However, it was not at all clear where the inn actually was. Finally we asked about it, loved the sound of it, and booked a night's stay as a getaway.

You enter the inn through an inconspicuous door in the restaurant (another entrance is available for after-hours use) - into another world. The rooms are few in number, entirely individual, and luxurious without being pretentious. The open onto a central atrium painted gorgeous shades of ocher and purple, focused by a large pool with a fountain (plus two turtles that sometimes go walkabout in the courtyard). Chairs, tables and benches provide places to lounge and relax, and a firepit provides warmth on winter nights. Or, the rooms are more than lovely enough to lounge in. Do what comes naturally.

Breakfasts are included, and are excellent, served in the cellar at Milo's Wine Bar. We had vegetarian omelets that are among the best we've had anywhere, and the coffee (locally roasted) was superb.

Milo's Inn is a perfect, secluded and beautiful retreat. If you're in the neighborhood, try it out. Or if you're visiting Las Vegas, give yourself a treat and make the short trip to Boulder City for an entirely different experience. You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Any room is excellent. Ask the staff when booking to describe them.

Milo's was our last night on a 16 night road trip around South West USA. It was the perfect ending for our honeymoon. Just 4 rooms, we booked the Tuscany. We found it easily with Sat Nav and checked-in easily through the wine bar. Our room was off an outside courtyard with a fish pond and waterful, lovely! The room was was very spacious and comfortable, huge bed and a double jacuzzi bath!
We had dinner outside the wine bar with excellent wine and local beer.
The next morning Ana served our huge breakfast in the courtyard beside the fishpond! Again, it was perfect, so much food! Fresh fruit, freshly baked croissants, cereal, meats, cheeses and freshly baked cake all served with freshly squeezed orange juice and excellent coffee.
Thank you Ana for a lovely ending to out honeymoon.
