We tried The Coffee Cup last weekend, 8/30 - 9/1, after seeing it on "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives" on the Food Network, and also the good reviews on TripAdvisor. This place is awesome! Funky surfboard decor, very clean and pleasant. Lots or happy people eating breakfast. We tried the Pork & Green Chile Omelet, and a breakfast Burrito #2, which were both very good.

We would definitely eat there again, and recommend it to everyone.

After all the hazzles of Vegas, we left the crowds behind and headed to Hoover Dam. On the way, we spotted the Coffee Cup Diner in Boulder City and agreed we needed some breakfast and coffee. The food was excellent, the coffee was smooth and the service was friendly. What a find!!!!!

Stopped here on our way to the Hoover Dam. What a find!

Didn't want much so I ordered the fruit bowl - super selection & enough for all 4 of us. The rest had english muffins and cinnamon buns. Then we saw the pancakes.... Yummy! Light and fluffy and large. Loads of syrup.

A great place. Obviously family run and they care about their customers. Well worth the stop.

We wanted to try this place after the Food Network special. On that show they featured the chili verde and it was absolutely amazing. I had it on the breakfast burrito and it knocked my socks off. The service was a bit cold and indifferent and the rest of the meal was decent. They are defiantly worth checking out, even though competition in Boulder City restaurants is fierce. They all seem to excel at what they serve making it impossible to choose!

The coffee cup is wonderful! the decor is like your steping into a so cal breakfast hot spot!
The waitresses are some hott mammas!
The owners are their all the time and they arnt just sitting around.. they are running thier bootys off!
The weekends are busy and expect a little bit of a wait but its sooo worth it. Just ask the hostess for a mimosa and relax outside! i dont know anywhere else you can do that!
The food is unreal! nothing like some home cookin'. You have got to get out here and check this place out! They were on the FOOD NETWORK! absolutly amazing!
i have read some of the reviews and came across some bad ones that are totally untrue! the waitresses are beautiful and they dont wear flip flops to work.. this place is a full blown busy breakfast and lunch diner. the building was built in the 1930's so yea its a old building and the bathrooms are small but what do you expect. This place is like walking into a piece of history. this very same building fed the workers that worked on the hoover dam! so if your looking for a fast food restaurant then run over to mcdonalds. If you want some good atmosphere, great food, even the light sounding raggae music is great.. surfboards and skis all over the walls with photos everywhere! great service, a place to take your family, meet some locals and check out some history this is THE SPOT!
