How many times have you been to Vegas? How many times have you visited the Hoover Dam? If the answer is anywhere from "dozens of times" to "never," you should include the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge in your Hoover Dam plans. If you've been to the Dam before, I would skip it and just do the bridge. The pedestrian overlook bridge has stunning views of the dam, and you won't have to wait in long lines to stand on the Arizona-Nevada border. There is a medallion on the bridge to indicate where the states meet. Stand there and kiss your honey, each in a different state. Enjoy the views and engineering information about this spectacular bridge that is the largest steel arch in the western hemisphere. For parties with strollers or wheel chairs, no worries. There are both stairs and a ramp, so everyone can get up there and enjoy the breezy, breathtaking sight.

Just included this in the Hoover Dam. Engineering at it's best do not miss. Firm hat for the wind, sun lotion and water, good ramp for a wheelchair. views are amazing of the Dam It's a must and read the info if you don't get to hot or take a photo so you can read it later.

Amazing arch span bridge over the Colorado River alongside the Hoover Dam. A must see if traveling to Las Vegas Nevada.

We decided to walk the bridge instead of doing the dam tour. The bridge has incredible views of the Hoover Dam and lake Mead. It's really cool to be one one side of the bridge in Nevada then walk across and be in Arizona. It's a great alternative if your pressed on time. It was about a 20 min drive from Vegas.

The Hoover dam was closed due to a leak, so there were no tours

We wanted to see the dam and were told the best view was walking over the bridge. It was not too hot so we parked the car and climbed a few sets of stair. The bridge is amazing. The views are spectacular and the walk is not far.
