Description: Located in the heart of the historic Old Town district, Boulder Dam Brewing Co. is Boulder City's first and only brewpub. Located across the street from the Boulder Dam Hotel, the brewery is less than five miles from Lake Mead and less than eight from Hoover Dam. Practically a museum in itself, the brewery features decor and fixtures from the 1930's, silent films made during the construction of the dam, actual pieces of equipment used during the construction and a myriad of art depicting Boulder City's beginnings and brewing from the period. A destination for locals and visitors alike, Boulder Dam Brewing serves up six original pub-brewed beers at a time. The 40-barrel system allows the flexibility to offer many unique styles, from refreshing Pilsners to hoppy Pale Ales to creamy Stouts. Food ranges from traditional pub fare to salads, burgers, sandwiches and more, all prepared from scratch. The brewpub also carries a great selection of craft beer from around the world, wines and non-alcoholic beverages. With plenty of seating inside, and a beautiful beer garden outside, it's the perfect place to stop by for a pint and a bite.

“Good food, good service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 14, 2013

The microbrew I had had a good taste that went great with my sandwich. My brother had a six shooter, which was a small glass of each of their brews and enjoyed them all. A few TV's for sports and one TV had an old b/w documentary about the Hoover Damn being built ( a good place for tourists). Nice part of town too to walk off your meal .

“Great food and atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2013

This place had only one flaw, and that was our waiter. He was slow in taking our order and bringing our drinks, and then it was difficult get refills later without him muttering something under his breath. Thankfully everything else was great! The outdoor seating on the patio was so relaxing, the prices on the menu were reasonable, and the food and beer were tasty. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.

“Pleasant surprise!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013 via mobile

My friends and I were on the way back to Las Vegas after visiting Hoover Dam. We decided to stop in Boulder City to see what is around. We spotted the brew pub and decided to give it a try and were certainly glad we did. Cozy atmosphere. The vats are in a row on the back wall in the bar area. Our server was a friendly young man who provided great service. We each tried a pint of the pub's offerings. The Powder Monkey Ale was fabulous. Too bad we cannot get it on the East Coast. The food was traditional pub fare. The chili was delicious. My friends had fried zucchini and a big 'ole hot dog, which looked awesome. We even picked up a souvenir of our visit, some pint glasses. A great experience and we were shocked at what a bargain it was, particularly after being in Las Vegas.

“Old time brewing Co.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2013

Offers a number of different beers, with the brewing vats on display. This is an old time bar with wooden floors, tables, and unique bar. Suggest trying the sampler beers.
