We were so pleased that we ate at this restaurant on our last night in the South of France. We promised to write a review because this little place deserves a great one. It is in a less visited town than the surrounding towns which give it a more relaxed and authentic vibe. The food is great, very inventive, and untraditional but it all worked. We loved the set menu and the dining experience which totalled seven tasty well timed dishes, all well portioned and with a good reasonably priced wine-list to match. Lutz is a very welcoming host who speaks perfect English and who is rightfully proud of his restaurant. The evening before we’d eaten at a Michelin starred property in St Paul, with great food but terrible service and much heftier price tag. In many ways this little find was a much more satisfying experience of interesting food, great service and less fuss. Try a get a table outside on the street and watch the slow pace of goings on.
