We have stayed i n this B & B several times .It is ideal if you are travelling through France for a stopover ,or for longer if want to explore the area.Monsieur and Madame Thomas are extremely welcoming and he will without prompting show you his racing pigeons and show birds. The house is surrounded by a garden where you can lounge in the sun shine .Our room was fine and clean with large bathroom but they admit it is on the list to be refurbished, they have already done the other rooms .Their breakfast is great with homemade bread and as many homemade jams as days of the week.
There is a railway line running behind the house ,but they never run at night and never disturbed us .Don't let the fact that they have little English worry you they are so outgoing that we all had little difficulty understanding each other. We have stayed at least 4 times ! There is an excellent restaurant in Marans by the canal "La Porte Verte"More
