We took the scenic route to Anchorage on the Alaska Railroad and because of that we had to take a cab to the hotel as there is no shuttle from the train station so I thought that would be a bad sign but I was very wrong. It was a nice clean hotel in the middle of downtown Anchorage and we had a nice sized comfortable room. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and accomodating even after we checked out and had to sit around for a while waiting for our ride which was a little late in coming. At the end of one day I even stayed up for a little while and watched some tv which I never do when on vacation but I was just very comfortable in the room. (Just as a silly little aside I just noticed yesterday that we still have our complimentary postcards that we were encouraged to take while we were waiting for out ride.) Overall I encourage anyone who goes to Anchorage to try the Voyager. They will not be disappointed.
