Dirty carpet, ancient bathrooms, no services. Free wi-fi was very slow. Seedy looking outside and in. Would not recommend. Only place in Alaska we were disappointed in.

Keeping in mind that we were there (as part of a tour group, so we were expected) in the beginning of the tourist season, the staff, while pleasant, seemed overwhelmed by the number of people checking in. Confusion took place. The hotel is old, needs updating. the air conditioner did not initially work because no one took out the protective cover to the outside. Shabby furnishings, but clean. Beds, adequate. would have been more "adquate" if the rate was 1/2 that charged. Walking distance to downtown.

Room Tip: do not stay on the first floor , or top floor

Pillows are old and hard...matresses made my back hurt...Staff says: "Well, we buy new ones every two years". These mattresses (I looked at the label) are at least ten years old and I bought Motrin just to get thru one more nite.

Room Tip: None...they are all the same.

I stayed three nights having purchased as part of package with my Priceline air tickets. The room was fine--not fancy but clean and of good size with a good sized bathroom and a little fridge. I appreciated being just a couple of blocks from downtwon. A nice breakfast is included as is a ride to and from the airport--a great benefit. The upstairs rooms have balconies. Smoking rooms are available. The staff were pleasant and helpful. All in all a good deal for the money.

Location ok
Small lobby with one internet connection
Big bedroom with 2 large beds
SMELLY room, everyday, dirty carpet
No balcony in my room; I was at a st level (parking spot at the back)
Breakfast (free) very poor in a terrible location (dirty room also)
Free shuttle to the airport
Not cheap for what you really get.The hotel looked somehow rundown and shabby
I stayed after at the Ramada inn Seattle and there is huge difference (for better in the last one)
