Pillows are old and hard...matresses made my back hurt...Staff says: "Well, we buy new ones every two years". These mattresses (I looked at the label) are at least ten years old and I bought Motrin just to get thru one more nite.

Room Tip: None...they are all the same.

I stayed three nights having purchased as part of package with my Priceline air tickets. The room was fine--not fancy but clean and of good size with a good sized bathroom and a little fridge. I appreciated being just a couple of blocks from downtwon. A nice breakfast is included as is a ride to and from the airport--a great benefit. The upstairs rooms have balconies. Smoking rooms are available. The staff were pleasant and helpful. All in all a good deal for the money.

Location ok
Small lobby with one internet connection
Big bedroom with 2 large beds
SMELLY room, everyday, dirty carpet
No balcony in my room; I was at a st level (parking spot at the back)
Breakfast (free) very poor in a terrible location (dirty room also)
Free shuttle to the airport
Not cheap for what you really get.The hotel looked somehow rundown and shabby
I stayed after at the Ramada inn Seattle and there is huge difference (for better in the last one)

This downtown hotel has two large breakfast rooms with hot waffles, and is easy to walk to the shops.

We had 1 night booked through our agent. The hotel looks tired. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a really big room with a jacuzzi bath.It was clean but admittedly the whole place could do with tidying up.Breakfast was ok.Continental style but the room it's set up in is very shabby. The room overlooked the town and rail depot.Very noisy.Train horns in the night!! Not the best hotel but nice of them to upgrade us.....

The room we stayed in was on the first floor. This is a motel: DO NOT STAY ON FIRST FLOOR IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP. People kept using their outdoor access door and slamming it. We were there on a Weds. night and could not sleep because of the noise. In addition the room smelled like bad perfume and a little mildewy. The airconditioner was leaking on the inside of the room.

We stayed twice in this hotel. The first night was 8/23/10 for one night.

First night Pros:
The room was OK. There were two somewhat tired beds but they were clean. There was a reasonable bathroom; also clean.
There were two armchairs in the room so we could both sit and read or watch TV.
The staff is helpful and pleasant.
The shuttle is free and they will come get you at the airport or train station if you call.
The breakfast was typical and we appreciated that it was served early in the morning.

First night Cons:
There is no restaurant on site.
The beds are "tired."

Second visit was 8/29 & 30.
Pros:
Staff still very nice.
Shuttle still available

Cons:
The room was a hole. It smelled - mold, I think.
The beds were really awful; clearly old and well used.
No balcony here.
We hung our towels to reuse, but housekeeping took the used washclothes and hand towels and did NOT replace them.
They not only did not change the beds, they didn't even MAKE them. We had thrown the spreads up over the beds in the morning, and when we returned they were exactly as we left them!
There was one hard, straight chair in the room. If you sat in it for more than 20 minutes you were very uncomfortable. No place for the second guest
The sink was outside the bathroom, so getting a drink of water in the night or looking for an aspirin meant waking your roommate.
Did I mention that it smelled?

We were booked into this hotel by Alaska Tour and Travel. If you use them, try to avoid this place.
