“Great course and great time!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013

Beautiful Course but as with many Alaska Golf Courses, take lots of golf balls and stay in bounds!
We were able to buy food and drink in the middle of the course at a food hut. Beautiful warm Alaska day in the high 70's so we did not see the any animals but the foursome ahead of us did see a bear off in the woods.

“The conditions”

Where else can you see bear, moose, and fox roaming the fairways. Spectacular views and the staff are friendly.

“Husbands favorite in the State”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2012

My hubby is a novice golfer, but this is by far his favorite course and we live across the street from the Palmer Golf course! He's seen a black bear and a fox while playing a round here. He thinks it's worth the drive.

“Great Course”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2006

Although the RTJones designed Eagle Glen on the Elmendorf Air Force base is considered the premier course in town (and for good reason based on the shape of the course), it is often hard to get onto. The Moose Run Golf Course, which is part of the Fort Richardson Army Base, but open to the public, is just as good in my opinion. There are two 18 hole tracks. They claim it is the northernmost 36 holes in the USA. The Creeks is the toughest and longest. The Hill course is the more scenic and has the most uneven lies, but shorter and much easier. I played the Hill course., and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Greens are somewhat slow, but overall the course condition is fine. Lots of trees to ruin your shot, but not to lose a ball. I highly recommend this course. My only complaint was the poor shape of the WIlson clubs that were offered as rentals. Also, no beverage cart. TIP: Pay the extra $10 for the Calloways.
