“Beautiful safe walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2013 via mobile

Bring insect repellent . We started at Westchester lagoon and walked away from Tony Knowles coastal trail. It is a beautiful walk. Very nice until mile three, after that it is more lowland and the insects are fierce. No problem on a bike but impossible for walking. There was no sign of homeless encampments. I would do this walk again. There are tons of bikers, walkers, singles, couples and families.

“Feeling unsafe”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2012

There are many homeless camps along this particular greenbelt. I do not feel safe accessing it solo. There's a muni law that says no camping in public places, but they allow this.
