Rally pretty and nice, were awesome with our kids. Fresh food. But kinda pricey. We went for lunch, would be a good for a great date night too.

“Sit at the Bar for Happy Hour and a Great Meal”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

This place has happy hour every day from 3-6pm and then later at 9pm. It is first come first served service in the bar area. Everything served in the main restaurant is available and you also get $5 drinks and 1/2 price appetizers. I tried the crab cakes, calamari and the lamb sliders - two of these and a drink make up a dinner under $20! I was so happy to find this great value place that I ate here three times during a very short 4 day stay in Anchorage. One evening I tried to eat at several other places -- and all required reservations or a long wait. So I walked over to this place, sat at the bar and had another great meal of two appetizers. Also enjoyed a nice chat with the person sitting next to me.

“I want to return to Anchorage just to eat here”
Reviewed December 15, 2012

We arrived with our family of 5 late in the day and strolled the streets until we gambled on this place and got a royal flush. However it was 9 pm when we arrived, but 2 am, our time. I also noticed how exremely busy they were even at that late hour. We were actually lucky to get a table. So unfortunately could not eat much because we would be going to bed immediately afterward. Our waiter was awesome giving us menu suggestions and sightseeing ideas. He suggested a variety of apps and we shared some other plates, but what they are known for is their salmon and i will always regret not having a chance to try it especially as it was in season. It is far from the cheapest, but if the fish is as good as everything else we tried, than i am confident we would not have been disappointed. The price would have been a bit of an issue for us on this trip as the entree alone was over $30 and with 3 hungry boys it would have hurt the budget a bit on day one. Nonetheless, would go back in a heartbeat. Good atmosphere too and friendly.

“Warm and inviting”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

we had heard from a fellow traveler, this was a great place. It was a cold night, so I ordered the tomato basil soup to start. Big bits of tomato, and the blue cheese crumbles and the slivers of fresh basil were a wonderful addition. I chose the tenderloin tips next-again a standout. Hubby had a fish entree and thought it was very well prepared. We will definitely put this place on the list of returns!
