Can't say enough good things about Orso. We had the Halibut Cheeks and they were OUTSTANDING! My husband said it was the best meal he has ever eaten. The Manager was friendly and accomodating. The service was superb. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Meal was a little pricey, but, honestly, worth every penny. Would HIGHLY recommend!

I decided on Orso for my birthday dinner in Anchorage, and I was not disappointed. I ordered the mushroom ravioli topped with salmon, and a side of Yukon Gold mashed potatoes. The food was wonderful and the service was good. The portions were generous. We also loved the ambience and the blues backround music. It was a lovely evening.

Nice place for special occasions. Reservations are highly suggested. Had to wait a few minutes for our reservation and they really have no place for you to wait so your standing in the entranceway while other customers and servers are trying to get in and out. The food is good but pricey.

In recent years it has been up and down. Not consistent at all. I have had the Caesar salad when it's been good and more often when it's really needed sending back, which I have done. The last time I was there, several months ago, the entree(salmon) was way overcooked. I haven't been back since.

Very nice food and wine list in a pleasant atmosphere. Next to the Glacier Brew House and often less crowded. A quieter alternative if you're downtown at the Performing Arts Center.
