“Looking for good Seafood.”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

We thought this place was really good, until we went to Simon and Seaforts....Our dinners (8 of us) were good. Mine was okay, I am not a big fish eater, so I opted this evening to have a pasta platter off Penne Pasta with Rotisserie Chicken. It was okay, but I make better at home. Everyone who had steak said it was excellent. The Salmon was very good. The Calamari was not. It was not the small round tenicles, it was the larger part of the leg, pounded into steaks and then breaded. Very disappointing. Our friends couldn't even eat more than 3 pieces, thought it was chewy and sort of tough. Staff was very friendly and place was very busy, but we were taken care of well.

“Service and style”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

I have eaten here a number of times. Service is great in spite of very busy all the time. I love the varied menu that will please those seeking an Alaskan meal or those wanting traditional fare. Presentation of food is great. Be warned it is moderately high priced but worth it. Note GREAT beer here

“It's all relative; it was great”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

I won't compare the caliber of this meal with a 5-star restaurant in France. But if you want to go to a brewhouse in Alaska; if you want to eat creatively prepared meals; if you want consistency day in and day out, year in and year out; if you want great and fun servers - then you want to go to the Glacier Brewhouse in Anchorage, Alaska. Even in the winter after the tourists have gone home, you will find the place busy on week nights. You can see their brewery in the back of the room; you can get a table by the fireplace and get toasty; you can eat pizza to die for or seafood to remember. Just do it!

“Glacier Brewhouse”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

The food here was very good. The atmosphere is more like a party atmosphere with good beer and fun crowds. The selection of food goes from bar food to great selections of seafood and the deserts were absolutely out of this world. I would go back.
