Been two times to this fine establishment. Both times, during the weekend, and late at night. This last time, went around 10pm and no waiting for a table, on a Saturday night. The first time, went on a late Friday night, and had to wait a bit (10 minutes?). They give you a vibrating pager, if you have to wait. We walked around and looked at the old concert posters on the walls.
The pizza is amazing!! (I should put AMAZING in all caps) Had the medium tomato/pepperoni.
The crust is not thick, but not super thin. The red sauce was just right. The onions were not overwhelming. My son and I had to ask for a to go box. The next morning, he had it for breakfast. Yes, for breakfast, it is that good the next day.
We don't live in Anchorage. But, we will always make it a point to have a meal here. I saw that there are also lunch specials during the weekday. Maybe next time.
