This is the place to head when we want to take the kids and grandkids out to dinner and a movie. We love the nachos, salad, and pizza. They always have interesting specials and never disappoint when it comes to the dessert of the week. So far we haven't come across anything on the menu we didn't like. It's fun to sit back to watch a good movie and eat something other than a bucket of overpriced popcorn.

We live in Anchorage and eat at the Beartooth a couple times a month as its easy walking distance from our home. This is a real local joint at which you will see very few tourists, even in summertime. It is really two restaurants and a movie theater, although it doesn't seem big or busy. The theater is an old, renovated movie house with alternate seating rows removed for tables. You can watch a flick and eat supper and drink a beer. In the same building is a very casual diner-type restaurant with good burritos, pizza, salads and, of course, their signature microbrews. Next door is the nicer restaurant, serving good tex-mex, salads, and a selection of other dishes including specials. There is a full bar with very good mixed drinks. The food is reliably good and the service is usually very fast and cheerful. The folks who own the restaurant also brew a line of beers that are likely the best in Alaska and would be standouts anywhere. This is a casual, local place, good for families and eating with friends. One trick is that they don't take reservations, so they can get pretty busy at peak hours. Go at 6pm and you'll likely sit right down. Go at 630pm and you might have to wait for 45 minutes or so. If you are looking for a plate of chili rellenos and a great IPA in a friendly local joint without pretentions, this is your spot.

Fun to eat here with or without the movie. Food good, large selection, gluten-free friendly. Like the food on both the restaurant and café side. Good for locals and visitors alike.

This is an all around great place. I have brunch there at least once or twice a month. Lunch and Dinner options are awesome. Beer and cocktails with appetizers on point too. Next door at the Theatre pub, eat lunch in the cafe and get the seared Salmon tacos on soft corn tortillas!

I can't get enough of the beer here. I love Broken Tooth beer (as it's now called) and both Bear's Tooth and Moose's Tooth serve it up nicely. The nice thing about Bear's Tooth is the menu. At Moose's Tooth you really only have pizza to choose from. Whereas at Bear's Tooth, you can still get the pizza, but you also have a whole American / Mexican menu available to you as well.
