Although I've lived in Anchorage for four years, last Sunday was the first time I've eaten breakfast here. What a treat!!! Even though the place was packed, the service was excellent and we didn't have to wait too long for our order to be taken. It took a while for our food to arrive; however it was worth the wait. The food was perfectly prepared and everything was freshly made. Can wait to go back!!!!
A friend of ours who previously lived in Anchorage recommended this restaurant so we sought it out. We went during lunch on a weekday. Quite crowded right at noon. Lots of big groups. I had the pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw. Very tasty. Everyone at our table enjoyed the food. Took a while to get the food, but there is a disclaimer on their menu that they "don't do fast food. They do good food as fast as they can.".....or something like that.
A nice break from all the cafes we ate at in Alaska. In fact, this was probably one of the better restaurants we ate at while we were there.
I enjoy eating a good pizza and watching a movie at this theatre every so often. Make sure to order your food and buy your tickets early. The line gets long very fast. This is just the best way to enjoy a movie.
This place is always busy, but that's okay. You just get a buzzer and wander around outside until it's your turn.
This is where I always go when I need to kill time before going to the airport. It's a great place to go with a crowd of people because the menu is so diverse. Also great for bringing visitors - You can get a standard burger or great mexi-food ($10-15) and let your guests buy their fancy halibut/salmon dinner ($30).
It's all good. Great beer on tap, too. And they serve dinner from 4 until 11:30 pm!!
