“Riduclously Good Breakfast”
Reviewed June 5, 2014

My wife and I had brunch here while travelling in Anchorage, and it was amazing. Three words:

PECAN STICKY BUN

If you don't have one, you are hurting yourself. They warmed it up for us and it was one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth.

My wife's smoothie was fresh and good. My Snow City Mocha was piping hot and a special treat.

Our waitress was wonderful, the hostesses were welcoming and friendly, and the food was delicious. Our Uber Omelet was filled with fresh ingredients and the eggs were cooked wonderfully. The Polar Bear Breakfast was also tasty, thought I would have preferred the French toast be on a less grainy bread.

This place is crowded all day, and for good reason. Make reservations and you won't have to wait to experience one of the best breakfasts I've ever had!

“Best breakfast ever”

If you're hungry, try the heart attack and stuffed french bread for desert. 20 min wait for Wed lunch, we'll worth it!

“Great breakfast, served by nice people”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

What a great find the Snow City Cafe was. We also heard that you should make reservations on the internet because they tend to get busy so we did and that worked out perfect. When we got there people were waiting inside and out, but we walked up to the counter gave our name and within 10 minutes were seated. Outstanding. the food is wonderful and the combinations are out of this world. It's a fun restaurant with great servers. The coffee was excellent and they keep filling your cup which was great. Everything was cooked just how we ordered it and they go out of there way to make sure you're happy with what you ordered. I'd say for breakfast or lunch this is a winner.

“Happy Breakfast!”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

We learned breakfast is the most important meal of your day while in Alaska and the Snow City Café made another day of adventure possible by giving us an absolutely wonderful start to it. We planned on biking the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail and knew we would need a boost before starting and Snow City did not disappoint.. The Snow City Café is a bright and busy place where you might have to wait for a table unless you get lucky at the first come first serve bar, which we did. Coffee great, sticky bun ridiculously wonderful, and entrees over the top in portion size and taste. The Country Benedict was so good with hot biscuits smothered in sausage, sausage gravy, and topped with poached eggs. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and creamy almost custard like on the inside. Service was excellent and never pushy. If ever in Anchorage, you must go here.

“Great Vibe, Great Food”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

This is a breakfast / lunch cafe in downtown. We stopped by for a late lunch and it took us a while to choose from the extensive menu. hmmm, breakfast at 2:00 pm was very tempting. We opted for soup and sandwiches. The servings were very large and very very tasty. The sandwich meat (turkey) was so fresh I swear it still had a few feathers. Staff are very friendly ( with customers as well as each other) The kitchen closes at 3:00 so a late lunch is possible.
