First off Cash Only which isn’t bad seeing how they have an atm on hand ordered the Kenai burger and it was excellent they have a bar with all kinds of extra on it if you like. The building itself was awesome loved how they had all the history of the customers and Alaska right there.

I'm glad that I took a friend's recommendation to stop by this restaurant for the salmon burger. The decor, the music, and the entire experience reminded me of restaurants forty years ago. The place is filled with photos and memorabilia of customers and locals. Cash only. There is nothing pretentious about this establishment. The food is simple, good, and cheap. When you're in the mood for some "plain eats" nostalgia, this is the restaurant for you.

Great assortment of great burgers. The interior has hundreds of pictures that tell Arctic Roadrunner's history (it opened in 1964) and that of Anchorage post earthquake. Prices are good too. With outside eating when weather allows.

Cash only. Good burgers with lots of local history on display. Self service, our at counter and pick up when called. Seating both inside and outside. Popular with locals.

We each had a halibut burger that was very unique including an onion ring inside the burger as well as a pickle on top. We also shared a delicious strawberry milkshake.
