We went to the old location for years. It was very cozy and you could sit in there for hours.
The new location is more open and has loss the privacy feeling. The food is still very good for the price and most folks cannot eat all the goodies on the table. The service is very good and the staff seem to be long time employees. it is still one of the best places in Anchorage and we make it a point to go there whenever we make the 225 mile drive...

Greek Corner definitely suffered from its own success: The old location was crowded with kitschy decor, which made it feel cozy and fun. But it got to where you could end up waiting for a table or be turned away. The new place is too big and feels a bit sterile, even though the decor hasn't changed. The staff is still great, and they make the best halibut dishes in Anchorage--in season. The lamb chops, lasagna, and zesty shrimp are delicious, too. The lemon chicken soup is a special treat during the winter months and makes a great lunch paired with the feta and olive appetizer. Although the ambiance leaves something to be desired, we still love this place.

This has always been my #1 favorite place to eat in Anchorage. The pizza, gyros, hummus, burnt cream and baklava are all to die for. This place has been in Anchorage for many years and the quality has always been of the highest standards. I have eaten there hundreds of times and not once have I received a bad meal or had poor service. That's quite an accomplishment for any restaurant!

Decent food, but price increases over the last year or so have made other places a better value for equal if not better food.

We (6 adults and 1 2 yr old) had a very nice time here. The restaurant was busy on a Friday night and our various meals were all very good. We had tsatsike & pita (awesome) for a starter and people had souvlaki and gyros for the main course. Though very simple, the food was delicious. Service was fast & friendly.

We'll definitely go back and would never go to one of the national chains that are here in ANC; we'd go here first.
