We could see this restaurant from our hotel so we decided to try it. We were seated by a window overlooking Ship Creek. We ordered the Grilled Halibut with butter and parsley and it was cooked perfectly! The meal also came with an all you can eat salad and crableg bar. The restaurant is only open 90 days a year during the summer. So if you are in Anchorage and the Bridge Seafood is open go, you will remember this meal for years to come.

The service and quality of food was overall very good. The meal starts with an included starter bar. I had the pineapple coleslaw, smoked salmon pasta salad, and the potato salad.
I ordered the Salmon grill skewers, which came with salmon, reindeer sausage, and rockfish. Sides were roasted potatoes and fresh veggies. The potatoes had tons of flavor, Salmon was cooked right. The reindeer sausage was another high point. My wife ordered Halibut and no explanation needed. Good texture, taste and view of river.

Not much of a fish eater but my husband is and he was disappointed for what he got and what we paid. The sides were horrible. We would not return. A local told us it wasn't worth it but it was our first night there and we didn't know where to go and within walking distance of the motel.

By far, this restaurant has the finest and freshest seafood. It has a very generous buffet. My wife had King Crab which was outstanding and I had the Sockeye salmon which was cooked to perfection and the best I ever had. The restaurant sits above Ship Creek where you can see people fishing for salmon. The price is reasonable and the seafood is fresh and delicious. They also have a generous selection of desserts if you have the room after the free buffet and the dinner. If you visit Anchorage you must go there.

We had the opportunity to eat at Bridge on two occasions this month and both times were very satisfying. The first time we ordered the Salmon and the Halibut. Both were cooked simply, our preferred method with most fish. No heavy sauces or accoutrements were needed. The fish shined just fine by themselves. They were cooked correctly and not overdone or dried out, however Bridge does need to do a bit of work on their sides. The roasted potatos were obviously cooked awhile ago and were a bit shrivelled and oily. The same can be said for the veggie side as well. However, we were coming here for the fish and not the sides and that was worth it. Our second trip in was for drinks and appys and bridge did not dissappoint. The staff is friendly and helpful and is willing to insure that your dining experience is a good one.
