My aunt and I stayed here 2 seperate nights during our week in AK. We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport, it's no smoking policy, and the breakfast. We had no trouble locating the hotel in the dark. Our room was on the 2nd floor in the old motel-looking section. We lugged our suitcases up the stairs, and entered our room. It was the smallest hotel room I think I've ever seen with 2 twin beds and a tiny bathroom. The second night we stayed here (we asked for a room on the ground floor) we were still in the old section and got a handicap access room with a shower that had no ledge, so when you ran the water, it sloshed over by the toilet because the drain wasn't draining very fast..
I would categorize this hotel as adequate, it was clean, (the breakfast was nothing special) but don't be sucked in by the "Alaska" sounding name as we were!More
