Typical of large downtown hotels. $19 breakfast. $12.95 internet. $4.00
Coffee. $24 parking. Nice place but the model the hotel industry is using is different these days.

Good service with good staff but not that good.

Bathroom small which no longer the norm in most hotels.

Our state association recently had its annual conference here. We have used the Hilton in the past and it's been fine. However, with new faces: Katie, Taylor and Mike managing these events, the result has been fabulous. Everything was done ahead of time , people were right there when needed and changes easily made. The venue was clean and staff friendly. The food was excellent. Now we have the convenience of the Hilton location for our members and a top team for our events. We are back next year!

Hotel is nice. Staff is great. Starbucks in the lobby. However, everything else is typical Hilton - they have this big lobby and thus they charge for everything to pay for it. Downtown parking is exhorbitant even if you don't choose the parking valet. Hotel rooms have recently been remodeled, but the bathroom is very small. No fridge in rooms so you can't bring back leftovers from dinner/lunch for later.

In Anchorage on business, this is the first time I've stayed in a Hilton. Desk folks were friendly and helpful. Room was nice with a stunning view of the roof of the adjacent building. Espresso bar was good. Valet parking was excellent and fast. First time I've had to pay for wireless internet connectivity in my room. Room service was overpriced but the service was excellent. I do NOT recommend the brisket of beef. It was advertised as barbecue, but really it was just roast beef with sweet barbecue sauce slathered over it.

Very easy to get a room as it is off season end of October. The staff is very friendly and eager to please, but the furnishings and hotel itself is very "tired". A renovation would make a huge difference. Parking is steep, as only valet parking at $24.00 per night is offered. Breakfast buffet is decent, but the only regional food is smoked salmon and a gravy with game in it. The service staff are very friendly. and happy to talk and suggest activities. Saturday night was very noisy with a party in the next room full of young adults, and we were staying on the executive floor.

Room Tip: Facing the mountains is a lot more scenic than towards downtown. Higher floors have less ground leve...

Attended multi-day meetings in the large ballroom. Valet parking staff were outstanding: fast, friendly, professional, caring. Front desk staff, gift shop staff, and espresso stand staff had the same high level of professionalism, standards, and caring. Meeting room temperature was comfortable, but chairs were not; even the executive chairs were uncomfortable and some were falling apart. Meeting room was somewhat tidied in the evenings, but some trash cans were missed and some trash left in the main floor. Like many places, certain services are pricey extras ($13 per day for wi-fi? Alyeska Resort offers it for free!)

We have stayed here many times when we have found ourselves in Anchorage and needing a room. The rooms have always been clean and the staff always courteous. Unlike another reviewer we have never paid for 24.00 valet. Don't forget if your military they offer reduced rates and extra perks.

Room Tip: The higher up in the tower offers great mountain views. On a clear day Denali is easily visible if y...
