Victor and Jerry, thanks for my stay first of all. These two incredible
guys are some of the most giving, interesting and helpful people I´v meet
on my now, 5 month old worldtrip. I would recommend this B&B to everybody, that
is going to Anchorage.
The interior is done in a very sophisticated mannor and the decoration
and art objects makes this B&B unique. There are lots of beautiful flowers
and plants (hence the name).
Both Jerry and Vic knows a lot about Anchorage and Alaska and have several
suggestions to attractions and restaurants.

Great breakfast, great beds and great people. What els could you ask for!

If you go to this place, I personal garentie that you wouldent be disapointed.

We received the utmost quality of service by Victor. WHile our stay was brief, his hospitality was of the highest quality. Pleasant atmosphere, great conversation, and good food. After arriving at the airport we discovered we were missing a cell phone. We called Victor and he returned with the phone to the airport. THis is quality treatment. THe room was beautifully decorated with live plants and many windows. It was an overall terrific experience.

Someone once told me a B&B only does two things (bed and breakfast!), so they need to do them both well: City Garden does both to exceptional success! We stayed at City Garden in August, at the beginning and end of our trip into the Alaska wilderness. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. The best sleep of the summer for my wife and me, followed by some of the biggest and most delicious breakfasts! The omelettes, the homemade fruit jams -- everything was perfect and plentiful.

The hosts are warm and friendly, and made very useful suggestions on Anchorage attractions and restaurants. The B&B's location made seeing the city easy, as it was located across the street from a wonderful park, and about a ten minute stroll from the heart of downtown. It was very near to the coastal trail, as well -- we rented bikes and very much enjoyed a ride down the inlet. Our fellow travelers on our trip in the wilderness were envious as my wife and I were dropped off at City Garden -- I think a few of them will be staying there during their next Anchorage visit, as well!

Our heartfelt thanks to the owners for being part of a perfect Alaska experience.

Located within easy walking distance to the center of Anchorage we found this to be an outstanding B&B. The sophisticated interior decoration and unique art objects were a special addition to large, attractive, comfortable bedrooms, a spacious living room and convenient modern kitchen. Breakfasts were of gourmet quality, including huge bowls of freshly picked raspberries, and were timed for our convenience. Vic and Jerry were wonderful hosts, sharing there knowledge and love of Alaska, and helpfully assisting us with planning our visit to Anchorage.

Great accomodations in quiet location in Anchorage. Walkable to main part of town. Vic was very helpful and even drove us about 1/2 hour away to visit Alaska Native Heritage Center, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Also drove us to the train station early in the AM. Accomodations were very clean. Highly recommend.

Thanks Vic for making our Alaska visit perfect with your great museum, dinner and cultural/sight seeing recommendations. The accommodations where gracious, and the breakfast you cooked for us was delicious. We could have stayed longer, and know we will be back to stay on our next visit.
