Very friendly helpful staff were outstanding. Excellent facilities plus large choice for included breakfast. Restaurant short walk from hotel. Free transport to airport and city centre. Very comfortable bed in well appointed room. It was a bit pricey but worth the extra comfort and service.

Booked at Homewood Suites on an awards trip months ago. When we arrived at Homewood we were informed they were overbooked and had to move us to Hampton Inn. Definately a step below the Homewood but the Hampton served us well for a night and as a Anchorage base. Office staff at Hampton was very nice and helpful. We told her about early checkout to catch Railroad down to Seward and she made sure we knew about Breakfast bags for us to take. Great to have for kids on early train ride and for snacks along the way. Bed was comfortable and room offered free internet.
Hilton hotels are all on free bus system (airport, downtown areas) which was great, no need for a car and we got to explore Anchorage prior to our cruise.
Fine choice if you can get a room for a good price.

My wife and I stayed here two nights on our recent trip to Alaska. Our first night was when we arrived in Anchorage. Then we were off to Whittier, Seward, Denali, etc. before staying again the last night before catching our cruise ship. Not much to say - the Hampton's have never let me down and this was no exception. The only downside was their business center was being remodeled so we couldn't check email. Everything else was great.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Anchorage, AK on our vacation in June. The hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly and hotel is clean. Nice free breakfast. Located close to several nice restaurants. The shuttle service was nice, picked us up at the airport and also took us to the car rental place to pick up our rental car. Would stay there again.

My husband and I spent our first night of our Alaskan vacation at Hampton Inn, Anchorage. This was a wonderful hotel....clean and comfortable. Its just a 5 minute drive from the airport and the hotel has free shuttles operating to and from the airport.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and gave a some good advise for our trip. The hot breakfast was great.
A little pricy, but would certainly recommend this hotel for vacationers to Anchorage.

My husband and I stayed at the Hampton our first two nights in Alaska, and were very pleasantly surprised. The gal at the desk at one something in the morning was a little slow at getting to the counter. That was not a big deal, because we had so many delays by then, that another five-ten minutes, made no difference. She made the check-in process a breeze, in two minutes or so we were already going up to our room. The beds were really comfortable, the duvets were a real nice touch. It was nice to see that the beds had an assortment of pillows, hard medium, and soft, some in the foam stuff and some filled with down. The floors and the bathroom were also nice and clean, as were the fixtures and the remote. (Don't you hate it when the remote is grimy?) The hotel is a bit convaluted to get to, because it is not on any main roads (although you can see it from them), but once you figure it out, it's not a problem. Since we arrived there at night we didn't have to worry about traffic, but during the day, the crossroads in front of the hotel can get pretty busy. This however, does not make the hotel noisy. The breakfasts were good, semi-varied, biscuits, sausage patties, eggs the kind you find on Egg McMuffins, friuts salad, juices, etc. Check-out was also a breeze. We would definitely stay there again.
