Decided to have a lunch at this restaurant on a hot July day. The restaurant was not busy for a Sunday lunch but the other two tables were locals, which can be a good sign. The menu was fairly standard and as it turned out all of the dishes were adequate; nothing objectionable but nothing to write home about. The scallops in the salad were perfectly cooked but the whole salad was covered with too much balsamic in my opinion, and therefore this flavour was overpowering. The lamb was fine but we have certainly had better. The same goes with the fish. The best thing was the price, only 22 euros for four courses, and for a Sunday lunch this was a good price. Would we visit again? Probably not, only because we would try another place in Doue-la-fontaine, not because there was anything to particularly dislike about the meal.
