“Delicious meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2013

There was a little bit of a line, which meant it was good. There are dozens of restaurants in and around Pike Place Market and most had no line. But it's worth the short wait. The clam chowder and seafood bisque were great. It is north of Pike Place in Post Alley. I will definitely return.

“A little tough to find using Google maps”

Find your seat first! But the chowder is delicious. Will probably make a second trip before week is up.

Enjoyed the manhattan clam chowder. Fantastic and as good as the reviews. Great stop to warm up before touring the city

“Eat this.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

There are places around this city that boast "Seattle's best chowder" and really, it comes down to ones own personal palate. That is not true, for anyone, here. They have multiple styles of chowder here so everyone will be happy, but seriously, this is the best chowder in the city. *sorry Ivar's, I still love you too*

“Finally- I've found the perfect clam chowder”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 9, 2013

This could be the mecca for chowder. Based on the reviews, we went to PPC. I taste tested both a small-sized cream based clam chowder as well as a manhattan clam chowder. The usual dairy based version was outstanding with it's own unique bisque taste, unlike any of the usual disappointing varieties. It was chock full of clams bits and potatoes and was perfectly thick, without being too thick. The manhattan variety was a thick, rich soup/stew of diced tomatoes and celery, with clam pieces and there was a nice spicy kick to the broth. My only comment on the latter, is that, while there was rich clam taste, there could have been more clam bits. Of the two, the dairy based chowder was terrific, and one of the best I've ever had.
