This place is as good as it gets in the B+B circuit. Basically nothing to fault and many things to praise.

Read the reviews below mine ( and sure to come after mine) and you will see the highlights of Chelsea. For me the overriding plus of the Chelsea is the that you know the owners 'care' and have done/are doing all they can do to give you the guest an easy and comfortable stay.

From little things to big things nearly all bases are covered so you can enjoy your stay and not have to worry about anything.

So if you can get a room , book it and enjoy Seattle from the B+B

As for me, I am ready to move in full time !

Thanks for a great experience.

Room Tip: be happy to have any room, the place is heavily booked and worth staying at.

We stayed at the Chelsea Station for a couple of nights at the end of our trip and certainly ended on a high note. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and extremely clean. Generous shower room. We loved the extra touches like coffee being ready to brew, snacks and wine etc. to help yourself. The pullout sofa was very stable and comfortable for the children. Sadly it was too cold to enjoy the terrace but it would be a real hit in warmer weather. The surrounding neighbourhood was very pleasant, safe and with a couple of good places to eat (Red Mill Burgers and The Stumbling Goat bistro) nearby. Breakfast was good - delicious granola - and staff were accommodating getting us some provisions for a really early start. Bed was quite high (double mattress) which wouldn't suit everyone but can't fault it otherwise and when we return to Seattle we would love to stay again.

We consider Chelsea Station a real find. The neighborhood is charming. Spring flowers were everywhere. Our suite was large, beautifully decorated with many amenities. The staff were charming and efficient. Our rooms were kept spotless and the breakfasts they made and served were delicious. It felt luxurious to have breakfast served en suite and access to drinks and snacks whenever we wanted them. We travel a fair amount and have stayed in some excellent hotels here and abroad (The White Hart in Leeds, The Brown Palace in Denver). Chelsea Station is right up there with them - and perhaps even more relaxing, as it really felt like "our place" while we were there.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was like having our own apartment- so spacious and luxurious!
We enjoyed the snacks, the location, and the ease of checking in and out- very smooth. A great way to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The only small misgiving was that the bed was relatively small (a small queen) compared to the large apartment so that was surprising. It is also a bit on the pricey side but you pay for what you get which is high quality.

I recently was treated to a one night stay at Chelsea Station. What a lovely treasure hidden away in a charming neighborhood setting, but still close enough to easily access all the bustle of Seattle activities. The entire suite was so warm and comfortably appointed... special features included CD/iPod player and selection of table games ready to enjoy in the living area, coffee machine set up and ready to brew in the kitchenette, dimmable lighting in the dining area, private bedroom with luxury bedding, and bath with a walk-in shower equipped with dual shower heads. The entire space was spotlessly clean and you are left to enjoy it all privately. A delicious breakfast of french toast and fresh fruit was beautifully presented, delivered to the suite, and right on time as requested! I look forward to a chance to return for a longer stay!

Although we go to Seattle often, this was our first visit to Chelsea Station Inn for three nights. What a delight. More like an apartment with spacious living room, dining area, kitchen bedroom, and bath and a half. All excellently maintained and appointed. Food was very good and service was excellent, served en-suite at your specified time - by the third morning we opted for simple fare of granola and yogurt, but that too came with lovely fruit, pressed coffee, toast, etc. In the evening, a glass of wine and a snack were ours in the community kitchen and pantry. The Inn is directly across the street from the Seattle Zoo (one of the best in the country), close to Ballard district where our kids live, and close enough to downtown. We will be back for a return visit.

Room Tip: I understand that all four rooms are identical; pick any one. It's a quiet neighborhood.
