I don't care if you live in Seattle, Everett or Tokyo. Eat at Red Mill before you die. Absolutely the BEST burger on this planet. The Onion Rings are not to be missed. They are seasoned to perfection, battered perfectly, and the onion STAYS with the ring! It doesn't all come flying out at first bite. You could run a fortune 500 company, be elected president, even win a super bowl, but if you live your entire life and never eat a Red Mill Burger and Onion Rings your life will have been lived in vain.

Always a great burger & FANTASTIC shakes. Onion rings are a must. Also offers veggie burgers & grilled chicken. Bring cash or checks-they do not accept credit cards.

We stopped into this Red Mill location on a recent trip to Seattle after reading a lot of reviews and seeing this place on a lot of top 20/10 lists. A small building tucked into a busy commercial district, there's a handful of parking spaces in the back and to the right of the building as well as street parking. We came during off hours so we snagged a spot in the back but it's clear that if this place gets even sorta busy, parking will be tough to find.

The interior is full of booths and though a small space, they're packed about as much available seating inside as they can-there's even a counter in front of a window with bar stools. Still, the inside probably seats maybe 50-75 max and there are more tables outside. There's a giant menu above the ordering counter that makes selecting from the menu easy and after you place your order, you're given a number and then wait for it to be called. The menu's fairy typical of a casual burger joint-lots of beef burger variations, fries, onion rings, pop, shakes and malts. They also had a few chicken variations and a few veggie burgers, which is why this vegetarian agreed to check this place out. Though my red onion veggie burger was good, it was nothing out of the norm and actually kinda difficult to eat in that it dripped and caused the bun to slide all over the place. I eventually gave up and ate it with a knife and fork. My fiance enjoyed his bacon deluxe with cheese, though again, nothing to write home about. The fries were good-thick cut and not greasy. I did spy someone with onion rings and had instant envy, so while I cannot say if they are as tasty as promised, they certainly look it.

Prices were average-given the atmosphere and food quality I would actually expect them to be lower. I've had tastier veggie burgers for less. The service was fast-a big line developed while we ate and they seemed to process it quickly. Wait time for food was minimal and the atmosphere was fun and light-hearted, very casual and laidback, with mostly teens, college kids and a few families. All in all a good meal and the veggie/chicken choices were a nice change of pace that set this place apart a bit from the typical burger joints, though I don't know that the food was good enough to make our own personal top 20/10 lists.

Great burgers, sweet potato fries and shakes! Can be a long line so like that you can call in your order, then go pick up.

Over cooked and over priced. Two Bells Tavern is a better burger. The onion rings are good. Hey if you want to try a unique burger experience go to Katsu burger. Totally out of the way with no ambiance but you've probably never had something like their's before
