We couldn't get a dinner reservation here on our weekend visit but did manage to come for brunch. Glad we did. The space is so pretty during the day with tons of natural light I'm glad we got to see it in daylight.
I love the market like space, it's always fun to stroll through fabulous butchers, cheese, wine & flower shops before eating. Brunch itself was fantastic. My husband & I shared 3 items - the smelts, which were slightly pickets and amazing, the smoked salmon, which melted in your mouth and the fried egg over potatoes, which sound plain and boring, but it was kinda magical with a sorrel sauce. Everything was just lovely.
We walked by the open kitchen on our way out and saw the biscuits... and had to get one to go. Best biscuit I think I've ever eaten. They packed it up with whipped butter and a smoky orangey jam which had the consistency more of honey, but it really didn't need anything.
Would love to see what they do for dinner here.
