“Great combination of history and lunch”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

I took the the Pike Place Market tour after purchasing a Groupon. You get history, laughs, and a tasty little something at each stop in the market. DO NOT plan to eat a meal before or after this tour. I got nauseated about halfway through from eating too much and the food sustained me until dinner. A great way to experience the market for the first time.

“See and taste a lot”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

We did the Chocolate tour and it was excellent. Our guide, Brett, was excellent! The tour was well planned and we loved the device that allowed us to hear him while he spoke into a mic from possibly several feet away - no shouting for him and a good time for the group. They have other tours available and we heard from another participant that the Pike Place Market tour was good, too.

“Delightful Gourmet Seattle tour”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

Nick was our guide for a group of eight. This is the second tour I have booked with them and both have been great. Lots of local knowledge of our food products and Seattle history. It was a great three hours of activity. We left informed, entertained and full!

“Pike Place Market Tour with Brett, "double t and no n, Brett"”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

We love doing food walking tours in every city we go to and this tour definitely ranks as one of our favourites because of the different spin the market environment at Pike Place puts on things.

Food tour guides tend to be a particular breed of personable quirky and Brett is a particularly engaging version. Foodie with a capital "F" and absolute mine of good (and bad, but good bad, if you know what I mean) puns, jokes and double entendres and an even more absolute mine of both useful and useless information about everything from food and wine, to places around the world, not just Seattle. We took him up on all his post tour recommendations and rate them all highly.

If the Gourmet Food Tour we have booked for tomorrow & the Chocolate Indulgence Tour the next day are as good then we are in for two more great tours.

It must also be noted that the staff in the bookings office, Amy Grimm's team, are excellent too. We knew we wanted to do these three tours and from experience we know that such tours tend to give a discount card after the first tour. We didn't want to wait to do the first tour before booking the rest least we not obtain places, so reached out to their booking office to establish if any discount could be forthcoming from the start. They bent over backwards to make it work on their system, even rolling all three charges into one so that we only paid a single admin fee instead of the usual fee for each booking.

With crack teams behind the scenes and crack teams out in the field this team of foodies are set to get more deliciously fabulous over time!

“Chocolate Indulgence Tour - Amazeballs!”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

This tour has everything! The website info was clear and accurate, and online booking was easy. CJ, our tour guide, was energetic and funny, with lots of cool knowledge on cacao history and the local chocolate, dessert, and food scenes. The tasty treats we sampled were fantastic! I was a little worried I'd get chocolate overload, but the high quality of chocolate in different forms, combined with the light walking, made for a really well paced tour. I look forward to taking another Savor Seattle Food Tour the next time I'm in town.
